A catch-all email mailbox receives messages sent to invalid email addresses under the same domain. For instance, an email message sent to the misspelled suport@domain.com will go to support@domain.com in case the catch-all feature has been activated for the latter. In this way, you can get email messages from friends or clients who may have sent a message to your email address with a typographical error or to an out-of-date one, which they may still have, but you have already deactivated. Only one mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be enabled for such a mailbox. This is so because of the fact that at some moment you may begin receiving spam emails in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding limitation means that the spam will not be received in a third-party mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Shared Web Hosting

You’ll be able to configure a catch-all email mailbox easily in case you’ve got a shared web hosting account with our company. The Email Manager in our in-house created Hepsia Control Panel is feature-rich, yet remarkably simple to use, and it will allow you to enable various options, including the catch-all one, with just a few clicks. All the email addresses that you have will be enumerated alphabetically in this section and next to each one you will find a tiny "Catch-all" logo. Clicking on it once will enable the feature, clicking on it again will deactivate it. Since you can have only one such catch-all mailbox per domain name, our system will warn you if you’ve already got another mailbox with this option enabled or if you’ve got enabled email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

The custom-developed Hepsia Control Panel that is included with each and every semi-dedicated server package that we are offering will allow you to configure a catch-all e-mailbox with ease even in case you don’t have much email/web hosting experience. All it takes to do that is to click on the catch-all icon, which will be to the right of each email address that you’ve set up with your domain names in the hosting Control Panel’s Email Manager section. As you can have just one mailbox with this feature per domain, our system will notify you if you’ve already created another catch-all mailbox or if the one that you wish to use has email forwarding activated. In case you decide that you don’t want this feature anymore, you can deactivate it by clicking once again on the very same icon. The Email Manager section will also allow you to view your catch-all mailboxes at a glance.
